 About

The Director

My name is Lydia Ball.  I have taught in various choir positions over the last seven years.  I will begin my third year at BMS, eighth overall, this coming semester.  I have grown up in several places, mostly Texas.  While attending the University of Arkansas at Monticello I earned my Bachelors of Music Education with a minor in Speech Communications.  I also participated in every music ensemble I could get into.  This includes, marching band, concert band, jazz band, and choir.  I have experience in singing as well as the Trombone and the Bass Guitar.  I love all things music and have a special interest in music history.  My other hobbies, which are many, include reading, fishing, hunting, watching movies, playing video games, and board games.  I have been married to my wonderful husband John for ten years and we have a Beagle named Bailey.  She is my fur baby.
